Hi cuties! The moment has finally arrived—the collection I’ve been teasing since October is finally here! Meet our Florentine Collection, a curation of pieces inspired by the history, traditions, and sense of craft quintessential to Tuscany. It’s a collection that captures the timeless elegance and refined artistry of Italian design, bringing a sense of quiet sophistication to your everyday. Throughout this month, I’ll be diving into what makes each room in our Florentine Collection so special. We’ll start with our Florentine Bathroom.

When we designed this Tuscan Bathroom, we wanted it to feel like an extension of the rest of the home, complete with soft textiles, hand-drawn wall art, and decorative accents that make the space feel personal and collected. To bring the vision to life, we layered handcrafted pieces made from natural materials in gently weathered finishes. It’s a look that’s welcoming, luxurious, and brimming with heritage charm.

Stylish Bathroom Vanities Anchor the Layout

The vanity is the heart of almost any bathroom we design, and I’m so thrilled to have an incredible assortment of vanity sinks at Kathy Kuo Home. Inspired by the rustic beauty and exemplary craftsmanship Italy is known for, our bathroom vanities are made from gorgeous solid woods and polished stones, with antique brass hardware and cane accents. In our Florentine Bathroom design, we mirrored a pair of World’s Away Cutler Vanity Sinks (in a finish exclusive to KKH!) across the room for a balanced his and hers layout. The silhouette feels elevated yet rustic, traditional yet designed for effortless modern living.

Bathroom Furniture Invites You to Linger

"While furniture may not be your first thought when designing a bathroom, it’s such a clever way to enhance the comfort and function of the space."

And in our spacious yet cozy Florentine bathroom, it was a must! Our Rochelle ottoman brings curved lines and soft textures to the room, and I’m just obsessed with her ruffled skirt. Rochelle acts as the perfect seat to perch with a face mask on, or a place to set out your outfit du jour. She’s available in five fabrics, including the warm honey-colored linen pictured here. We also added this stone and wood drink table to the design—an ideal spot to rest your beverage of choice while indulging in a bubble bath.

Layered Décor Makes It Feel Like Home

Beyond the core furnishings and fixtures, it’s the décor that makes an otherwise purely functional space feel sensorial and inviting. From ribbed metal soap pumps to petite boxwood plants, every detail was considered in this thoughtfully designed room. Even the waste basket makes a statement with its hand-painted floral motif! We decked the walls with botanical illustrations in antique gold frames, a gorgeous tapestry piece, and elegant wallchiere sconces topped with linen shades. A hand-knotted Oushak rug brings a soft, grounding presence to the bathroom, while also adding a layer of warmth to the stone floors (a nonnegotiable in historic Italian homes)!
