Measuring Guide
Here's a quick guide to help you measure your space and get an estimate of the
amount of wallpaper you'll need. Before ordering, we always recommend verifying the
quantities with your wallpaper installer. They'll be able to take additional nuances of
your space and wallpaper pattern into account when calculating the exact number of

- STEP 01:
MEASURE THE ROOM
Measure the perimeter of the room, then measure the height of the room (exclude crown molding and baseboard in your height measurement).
- STEP 02:
DETERMINE WALL SQUARE FOOTAGE
Multiply the perimeter measurement by the wall height to determine the wall square footage.
- STEP 03:
CONSIDER WINDOWS AND DOORS
Measure the square footage (width x height) of any doors and windows. Subtract the square footage of these openings from your wall square footage (step 2) to calculate your total wallpaper square footage.
- STEP 04:
CALCULATE THE NUMBER OF ROLLS NEEDED
Check the product details for your selected wallpaper to find the square footage per wallpaper roll. Divide your total wallpaper square footage (step 3) by the square footage per wallpaper roll. The resulting number is the number of rolls you'll need.
Pro Tip: Round up the total number of rolls by 10-15% to account forpattern matching and cutting.
