Happy October, cuties! Is it just me, or did we all go to bed on the night of September 30 and wake up to pumpkins and cobwebs on literally every single surface as far as the eye can see? It's officially #SpookySeason. I won't lie--Halloween is not usually my favorite holiday (unpopular opinion, I know--please don't cast a spell on me!).
For me, October is more about getting glam to celebrate my birthday later this month (stay tuned--we just might have some birthday magic in store for our KKH shoppers) than donning a costume for All Hallow's Eve. That said, as a mom of two young children, I understand that the holiday can be a blast for little ones.
And lately, I've been coming around to the idea of embracing an upscale version of Halloween decor. I will admit that I do love to browse in spooky shops like Creel & Gow on the Upper East Side of NYC and Deyrolle in Paris.

I couldn't give you a Halloween-inspired decor guide without giving a nod to the humble pumpkin! Just like millions of Starbucks customers have said "yes" to pumpkin spice (and everything nice), Team KKH does indeed endorse a well-placed gourd or two when it comes to autumnal decor.
