So, it may seem obvious, but it really comes down to splurging the most on your largest anchor pieces that you know are going to literally take up the most space, but also that you're going to use day in and day out.
If you take care of the big items—like the sofa, bed, dining table, sideboard, and dresser—first, then that gives you a clearer picture of what you have in your budget to spend on the finishing touches like wall art, decorative pillows, and coffee table books
