We treat patients from the age of 2 all the way up. We offer speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, a structured day program, psychological therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. \u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">One service that we offer is called the Brendan House. The Brendan House is a place where people live--our newest resident is named Dana and she’s 30 years old and she dove into a pool and became paralyzed from the neck down. She has a special apartment where everything is voice-activated--the lights, the TV, the heat. She has 24-hour care. She goes out to dinner and has friends over and all that. \u003C/span>\r\n\u003Cblockquote>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: center;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cstrong>\"We believe in life after injury. We do a lot of fun things and we believe in a lot of socialization. After a major injury, friends often stop coming around and people get depressed--so we like to have a lot of different parties and events to keep spirits up.\"\u003C/strong>\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\r\n\u003C/blockquote>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: center;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cstrong>We're so happy to be able to give back to New Beginnings--what should people know about the initiatives that the donations will support? \u003C/strong>\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cstrong>Allyson:\u003C/strong> A lot of times donations go to hardship funds for people in need who don’t have insurance. Also, right now we’re raising money to put a pool in so that we can have aqua therapy.
