As the years went on I loved starting to incorporate different aspects of my life into my blog and have it evolve as I evolved. Travel, \u003Ca href=\"https://www.kathykuohome.com/kids/?utm_source=social&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=kendallbreakfast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">motherhood\u003C/a>, \u003Ca href=\"https://www.kathykuohome.com/Product/ProductList/cookware-and-bakeware/?utm_source=social&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=kendallbreakfast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cooking\u003C/a>, and \u003Ca href=\"https://www.kathykuohome.com/Product/ProductList/decor/?utm_source=social&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=kendallbreakfast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">home decor\u003C/a> have been such fun aspects to intertwine throughout. \u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">My overall goal is to provide a place that people look forward to visiting on the web and want to come back to. A resource and source of inspiration for all no matter where you are in life. \u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Chr />\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cstrong>You and your family moved from NYC to Connecticut this past year. How has that transition been? \u003C/strong>\u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: left;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">It has been incredible! We lived in NYC for 12 years and were lucky to have our first son, Logan, be born there and experience almost two years of City life. font-family: opensans-regular;\">My husband, Matt, still needed to have a quick-ish commute to NYC, so that factor played a huge role. in our choice I have always loved Connecticut and with \u003Ca href=\"https://www.kathykuohome.com/Product/ProductList/office/?utm_source=social&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=kendallbreakfast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">work-from-home\u003C/a> on the rise, Matt knew he wouldn’t have to be in the office five days a week, so we expanded our search a bit. I wanted a street and town that reminded me of where I grew up and I got this overwhelming feeling of that when we turned onto our street to look at this house.\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before even stepping inside, I looked at Matt and said: “This is the one, it has to be ours!” We both love a house with character over a new build, so that was something that took priority on our list as well as having a little bit of land and natural light. Also, I truly don’t plan to move again, so we wanted a house that could grow with us as our family grew. \u003C/span>\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\r\n\u003C/span>\u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Chr />\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cstrong>How would you describe your home design style? What are you drawn to most naturally? \u003C/strong>\u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: left;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">Comfort, neutrals, and just a warm and welcoming feeling. I wanted to create a space that was something Matt and I loved, but also functional for having a family of two little boys and a dog. I was excited about the space and potential and fell in love with all the natural light that seeped into the room, but couldn’t figure out what would work best in that space and also not mess with the overall flow.
